Andromeda
Mixed media on canvas — 100 × 50 cm
Andromeda is an expressive painting of the female figure, elongated and poised against a richly layered purple background. Strong black lines define the body and create a striking contrast with the vivid lime green, pink and deep blue forms.
The figure’s confident stance gives the painting a sense of strength and movement, while the blocks of colour and gestural brushwork create depth and energy. The tall format emphasises the length and elegance of the figure, making Andromeda a bold contemporary statement piece.
